Everton midfielder, Alex Iwobi has ruled out a move to the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League.
The Nigerian international stated this in an interview with Brilla FM.
“I won’t go to Saudi Arabia, I feel like I have a lot to prove with my football, and I would like to play in the Champions League.
“It has always been my dream; I have played in it before, and I want to have a taste of it again.I have been told to focus on my football so whatever is happening behind closed doors.
“I’ll leave it to my agent. I don’t know what is going on, I am here to do a job for my national team and I am here to focus on football,” he added.
He stated this in light of the exodus of several high profile players who have left for the Saudi Arabia Pro-League.
The league recently secured the signing of former French Internationals, Karim Benzema and Ngolo Kante.
Belgian forward, Romelu Lukaku is another player who might be joining the league soon.
The league already boost of having former world best player, Cristiano Ronaldo.
