The Lagos State Government has reportedly acquired new set of Compressed Natural Gas buses from Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing.
The CNG buses are to ease residents fares and cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal, as they do not consume the Premium Motor Spirit alone, but also natural gas that are relatively cheaper than PMS at the moment.
The owner and Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Innocent Chukwuma, made this known in an interview with newsmen, stating that Lagos state government just acquired new set of buses from them days ago.
Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is an automobile manufacturer headquartered in Nnewi, Anambra, Nigeria. It was founded by Chief Innocent Chukwuma Nwala.
