Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti has reportedly jet out of Nigeria to Switzerland for a summer European tour.

The embattled singer was released from custody on Tuesday night on administrative bail.
He was unable to perform at a concert in Majorca Island, Spain, due to his detention by the Nigeria Police Force following allegations of assaulting a policeman.
Kuti’s trial has been adjourned to July 3, and his recent release from custody followed a clash between the Chief Magistrate, Adeola Olatubosun, and the police over new charges brought against Kuti.
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana was instrumental in blocking these fresh charges, citing the police’s disregard for a court order mandating the case file be sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
