Family, friends and colleagues of movie producer and actor, Murphy Afolabi who died on Sunday in Lagos have arrived at the Isolo General Hospital morgue to collect his remains.
The actor would be buried by 4.00pm on Monday at his Ikorodu residence.
According to Tribune, final arrangements are being made by his colleagues and the management of the hospital to release Afolabi’s body for the final burial rites as clerics and family members are waiting for the corpse for the internment.
The Punch Metro had published that the actor died after slipping in his bathroom on Sunday.
Born on May 5, 1974, Afolabi, an indigene of Osun got into the movie industry in 2001.
The graduate of Iree Polytechnic, Osun appeared in over 60 movies before his death.
His film credits included ‘Ifa Olokun’, ‘Omowunmi’, ‘Jimi Bendel’, ‘Wasila Coded’, ‘Olokiki Oru’, and ‘Idera’, among others.
