Popular Nollywood Yoruba actor, Murphy Afolabi is dead.
According to Peoples Gazette, the actor died today in his home after he reportedly slipped in the bathroom.
His death has also been confirmed in a post by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf on his Instagram page.
“We lost a strong Filmmaker Murphy Afolabi”, he posted.
He was 49 years old at the time of death.
The actor has had a successful career of over thirty years after his first debut as a kid actor in Bola Bamigbola (Dagunro)’s Ifa Olokun.
