A veteran Nigerian musician and activist, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charlie Boy has revealed the reason why he was pushed in a wheelchair at the airport.
The revelation came on the premise of his fans expressing their concerns on social media about the singer’s state of health.
Charlie Boy took to Twitter on Saturday to affirm that he is sound in health but was tired of walking about the airport premises and then asked the officials to roll him about.
He apologized for the negative signal about his health status that the picture of him in a wheelchair may have posed.
In a mixture of English and pidgin, he wrote, “I apologize if I made anybody worry about me.
“No be say anything dey do me. I just lazy/tired as I dey waka up an down for airport. So I tell officials make dem just dey push me around.
“I no dey form Chief Justice oooo and I no disguise myself to go see Tinubu for London sha.”
