The Ondo State police command has confirmed the killing of three people last night in Owo, Ondo State.
The State Police Command Spokesperson, Funmilayo Odunlami said policemen were yet to track down the killers.
“The Police is currently on patrol within Owo, I spoke with the Area Commander and DPO, no one is ready to report or even assist with an information.
“However, the anti-cultism men have been deployed.”
It was gathered that the killings were allegedly carried out by suspected cultists.
It was learnt from some residents that the perpetrators were killing their victims and taking their bodies away.
Also speaking on the ugly incident, the Special Adviser to the governor on security matters, Akogun Adetunji Adeleye said security operatives had been deployed to curb the killings and to make necessary arrest immediately
