Ismael Bennacer’s lone goal on Wednesday night saw AC Milan past Italian rivals, Napoli.
Bennacer’s only goal of the game which was scored at the 40th minute was all that separated the two sides
Napoli who were playing without their tailsman, Victor Osimhen, lost the first leg of its quarter final game against Ac Milan at the San Siro.
Osimhen was ruled out of the game Milan after failing to overcome a groin injury in time to play in the San Siro.
It is been expected that Osimhen will be fit to play the second leg of the encounter.
Osimhen is the top scorer in the Italian league this season and his 21 goals to his name.
