A renowned songwriter and producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy has urged Nigerian artists to emulate Davido’s marketing technique in promoting their projects.
He said this on his Twitter handle on Monday.
The Mavin boss explained that being popular does not guarantee that a project will be embraced.
He added that artists need to work hard as this does not in any way reduce their swag in the society.
His tweet reads: “Dear artists, I hope you can see how Davido is marketing his album. He didn’t form oh I’m OBO so everybody will cop my sh*t.
“Marketing your beautiful project that you worked hard on does not reduce your swag.”
