Hajiya Rabi Aminu Dantata, the wife of the famous Nigerian businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, has reportedly died.
According to a report received on Sunday, Mama Rabi (as she is popularly known), died yesterday at a hospital in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia.
Confirming the news of death, one of her grandchildren, Sanusi Dantata. said Mama Rabi battled a protracted illness, before her death.
“Please pray for our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Haj. Rabi, wife of Alh. Aminu Dantata, died yesterday after a protracted illness!
“She was the second wife of the foremost elder statesman. She died in her late 70s and left behind her husband and six children, among whom are; Tajjuddeen Dantata, Batulu Dantata, Hafsa Dantata, Jamila Dantata, and Aliya Dantata. And many more grandchildren.
“May Allah forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest rank in Paradise, Ameen!
“Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihirrajiuun,” Sanusi Dantata twitter.
It was gathered that Mama Rabi is the biological mother of Tajudeen Dantata, one of the popular children of Alhaji Aminu Dantata.
