The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Col Hameed Ali (retd.), on Monday approved the appointment of Abdullahi Maiwada, as the National Public Relations Officer of the service.
According to The PUNCH, this was disclosed through a press statement by service which stated that Maiwada, is expected to take over from Comptroller Timi Bomodi.
It was gathered that Bomodi had since been redeployed to Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Area Command as the Area Controller.
Maiwada graduated from Bayaro University in Kano with a Bachelor of Science in Education/Geography and a Master of Science in Environmental Management.
He served as the service’s Deputy National Public Relations Officer between January 2022 to February 2023,
