Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, AKA Wizkid, has urged his followers to listen to Davido’s new album, ‘Timeless.
Wizkid made the call in a post on his social media handles on Friday.
Davido finally dropped his much-awaited album, ‘Timeless.’ on Thursday after his six months social media break, following the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
The album which contains seven-tracks has been trending on the ost music platforms
Wizkid, wrote, “Inside!! Y’all go listen to timeless by my brother @Davido”.
This is coming days after Wizkid’s manager, Jada Pollock who is also his baby mama was dragged for promoting Wizkid’s More Love, Less Ego on the eve of Davido’s Timeless album release.
The tweet has been described by many as an act that was perceived by many as insensitive and divisive, which might stir up another war between Wizkid & Davido’s fans.
Recall that Wizkid also commiserated with Davido on the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke who passed on the 31st of October, 2022.
Wizkid took to his Instagram account, to share three heartbreak emoji hours after he deleted all his promotional tweets for his forthcoming album, More Love Less Ego.
Davido announced the release of the 17-track album on his social media pages in the early hours of Friday.
The album, as of the time this report was filed is also the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart and, UK’s and Top Albums Chart as well as in 17 other countries on Apple Music.
Davido revealed that he shot music video his ‘Timeless’ Album with N100 million.
In an interview with Beat 99.9 FM studio shared on Instagram Davido said, “Timeless is going crazy, We are excited and ready to go”.
He said it was shot by ace director, TG Omori.
