An Osun State correctional busdriver conveying inmates to the State High Court hit a commercial minibus, leaving two injured.
The PUNCH reported that eyewitnesses said the correctional truck driver, in a bid to disobey a traffic light that had signaled him to stop, hit a minibus, that left the driver and one of the passengers injured.
The unfortunate incident which happened in the state’s capital on Thursday, has caused no small uproar, as commercial motorcyclists and some angry youths reportedly blocked the popular Olaiya Junction in protest.
However, men of the Osun State Police Command had drafted to the scene, dispersing the protesters with teargas.
