The Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba is to meet with commissioners of police, among others in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The meeting which was scheduled for 10 am is to be held at the Goodluck Jonathan Peace Keeping Center.
The essence of the meeting is to review the general election as well as deliberate on other pressing matters.
This is coming after the governorship election was held across 28 states in the country on the 18th of March, 2023
Those expected to be at the meeting include Deputy Inspectors General of Police, Assistants Inspectors General of Police, police management teams and top police officers.
In a report by Naijanews.com, top on the agenda for the conference includes an interactive session with the press, IGP’s lecture on general election reviews, electoral offences recorded, and misconduct of police personnel among other crucial matters.
