Nigerian forward, Victor Osimhen, has assured Nigerians that the Super Eagles won’t underrate Guinea-Bissau in their African Cup of Nations qualifier match.
The three-time African champions will host Baciro Cande’s squad on matchday three of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
Taking into account the caliber of both teams’ players and their background, the Super Eagles are the overwhelming favorites for the match.
Osimhen in an interview with NFF TV, stated that the Super Eagles will respect their opponent, they aim to win the encounter.
“We are looking forward to it and I’m happy to be back to the squad it is an amazing feeling and really expecting amazing result in the two legged game against Guinea-Bissau.
“We don’t underrate our opponent we want to give them the respect they deserve also as a team,” he stated.
