The corpse of a man whose identity is yet to be known was found in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Tuesday morning.
An eyewitness told newsmen that the corpse of the man was dumped and found on Tuesday morning around Benin motor park in Akure.
It was also gathered that the man must have been allegedly killed by suspected ritualists as some parts of his body were cut off.
In a reaction, the police public relations officer, Funmi Odunlami said the Divisional Police Officer at Obaile police station and his men had visited the scene and, the corpse had been checked and moved to the mortuary.
According to the police spokesperson, preliminary findings showed that the man was said to be a driver from the Idanre local government area of Ondo state.
