Incumbent FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, has been re-elected the president of the world football governoring body.
This was disclosed by Sky Sports who stated that Infantino won his election without any opposition.
Following his re-election, he would be running the association for the next four years.
Recall that PUNCH METRO reported that FIFA would on Thursday decide the presidency of the association at its annual congress in the Rwandan capital Kigali.
Infantino, who was unexpectedly elected in February 2016 following the scandal that brought down Sepp Blatter, ran unchallenged for re-election in 2019 and is now expected to continue to lead world football until at least 2027.
