The woman whose husband was shot dead at a Collation Centre in Ondo State, Mrs Oluwaseyi Akinfolarin, has called for the arrest and prosecution of the soldier who pulled the trigger.
Mrs Akinfolarin’s husband was allegedly shot dead in the February 25 general elections.
PunchMetro had published that Mr Akinfolarin popularly known as Oluomo” lost his life Sunday morning after he was allegedly shot by one of the security agents present at the INEC Collation Centre, Owena Ayetoro Idanre. Ondo State.
PunchMetro also reported that the deceased was allegedly involved in a scuffle with the armed personnel while the Certificate of Return was about to be given to the winner of the House of Representatives election, Hon. Festus Akingbaso Fessywest, the incumbent Member of Ondo State House of Assembly representing Idanre Local Government Area Constituency.
The deceased was among supporters that accompanied winner of the House of Representatives seat for Ifedore/Idanre Federal Constituency, Hon Festus Akingbaso, to receive his Certificate of Result when he was killed.
