The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s agents from the Benin Zonal Command detained three people on Saturday in Benin, Edo State, for having 20 permanent voter cards.
The suspects were detained during the general elections.
Afekhana Esther, one of the suspects, was taken into custody in Ward 1, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ikpoba Okha, Benin City, along with 20 PVCs belonging to other individuals.
According to her, the cards were given to her by Comfort Muoneke, a 73-year-old woman, and Segun Osaimokhai, a 39-year-old guy.
