American singer, Shaffer Chimere Smith, aka Ne-Yo, and Crystal Renay have finalized their divorce and are now officially back in the dating game.
According to TMZ, the legal filings show that the former couple struck an agreement to settle their differences, with the two agreeing to share custody and other terms.
As part of their joint custody arrangement, neither party will have new love companions in the vicinity of their minor children unless they marry or are engaged to that partner.
In addition, Ne-yo will pay Crystal $12,000 a month in child support for the three children they share. He is also obliged to pay for the children’s school expenditures. Ne-Yo will also be required to pay Renay almost $5,000 per month in alimony for the next three years.
Their marriage lasted six years before Renay accused Ne-Yo of fathering a kid outside with someone else. The marriage was then on that ground.
