The President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, is set to bow out as the president of the union following the expiration of his tenure.
Wabba, who was elected as the president of the union in 2015 has served two terms.
According to Daily Post, the union has picked Tuesday 7th February 2023 for the 13th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference of the union at the International Conference Centre Abuja, where they would be electing a new leader.
The theme for the 13th Quadrennial National Delegates Conference is “Building Peoples’ Power, National Unity and Quest for a New Social Contract”.
It was also gathered that there are indications that the National Administrative Council of the NLC may have settled for Ajaero to succeed Wabba
