A 28- year old man, identified as Folorunsho Olaniyan, has been apprehended while reportedly attempting to steal a generator from a customary court in Ogun State’s Ado-Odo Ota Local Government Area.
According to The PUNCH, the suspect was apprehended while trying to steal the generator by the court registrar, Kareem Tolulope.
According to a source, the suspect had taken advantage of the public holiday which was declared for PVC collection to carry out the act.
The incident has also been confirmed by an official of the Local Government Service Commission, Mercy Ajewole.
She stated that Olaniyan admitted to breaking into the secretariat by climbing the fence and was turned over to police.
“Two screwdrivers and a bag were found on him,” she continued.
