A yet-to-be confirmed number of people are feared injured after a ghastly crash involving a commercial bus and a fuel tanker in Lagos State on Tuesday.
The incident was said to have occurred at General bus stop in the Abule Egba axis of Lagos mainland.
According to a Twitter post by @InsideMailnand, the commercial bus rammed into the fuel-laden tanker which was driving against traffic when the accident occurred.
As of the time of filing this report, Punch Metro could not immediately give a causality report, if any, as the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency is yet to release an official statement on the incident.
“Casualties have reportedly been taken care of, while efforts are on for evacuation,” the post was captioned.
