Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has penned a sweet message to celebrate his wife, Dr. Ibijoke, on the occasion of her 56th birthday.
On Sunday, he posted a photo of himself and his wife on his official Instagram page with encomiums.
In the message, the governor described his wife as a “a jewel of inestimable value.”
Describing her as the First Lady of Lagos, he appreciated her for “holding forth on the home front, while juggling the role of the First Lady.”
In his words; “Today I celebrate a jewel of inestimable value, my partner, prayer warrior, mother of my children and the First Lady of Lagos, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu. Thank you for your strength, selflessness and sacrifice, as we paddle the waters of governance in the state.
“You have been gracious and understanding even in the face of challenges that come with the office. You have stood up and shown up for me, and I truly appreciate you. Thank you for holding forth on the home front, while juggling the role of the First Lady. Happy Birthday my darling wife and soulmate. God bless you.”
