Suspected bandits have reportedly abducted four persons in Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory.
According to The PUNCH, the armed bandits attacked the Baipe area of Kubwa community at about 2 am Sunday morning.
According to residents, four persons, all male, were reportedly abducted as the bandits escaped through the hills.
They abducted four males, one of whom is Yoruba, two are Igala, and the fourth is Tiv, according to one of the sources.
One of the victims was stabbed in the chest during the incident in front of his pregnant wife, according to a another source.
He said, “The Yoruba man was stabbed in the chest in the presence of his pregnant wife who was appealing that they spare him. But they took him away despite her pleas and money offer.”
The FCT PPRO, Josephine Adeh, promised that the command will investigate the matter.
Adeh said, “We will confirm and get back to you, please.”
