Tension rocks in Ebiraland in Kogi State, as the palace of the paramount traditional ruler and Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Dr. Ado Ibrahim was rocked by a bomb blast on Thursday morning.
According to SaharaReporters, a car with explosives was driven, by an unknown driver, into the palace, exploding some minutes after and ripping through the palace.
Three people have been reported killed by the blast, with some injuries recorded.
An anonymous eyewitness said, “A car with explosives was driven into the palace this morning and shortly after, the car exploded.”
While the reason and identity of the bomb blast are get to be identified, the Kogi state police command have also not confirmed the incident as at the time of filing this report.
