The 41-year-old lawyer who was killed by a policeman, Bolanle Raheem, would have a roadway named after her, according to John Campos, the chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area.
Campos disclosed this to the lawyer’s family on Wednesday during a visit.
In a speech to sympathizers, the husband of the murdered lawyer, Mr. Gbenga Raheem, pleaded for peace and said that nothing could bring his wife back.
Raheem, who passed away, was trying to make a U-turn at the Ajah Bridge when she was shot by a police officer on Christmas Day.
She received her degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.
She co-founded the real estate and property development company City Building and served as its Chief Executive Officer as well as Croston Homes.
At the time of the tragedy, the deceased was reportedly seven months pregnant.
