The Ekiti State Government has commenced the recruitment of new primary school teachers.
According to The Cable, this was disclosed by the Chairman of the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board, Akinwumi Femi through a press statement on Tuesday.
He stated that the board has unveiled an online portal for the recruitment of primary school teachers.
He stated that the board is seeking suitable individuals with the National Certificate in Education and education degrees to work in the state’s public primary schools.
“The online registration will open at midnight on December 21, 2022, and finish at midnight on January 4, 2023”. He added.
“Candidates are to print out their forms after completion of the online application. The printout will serve as entry passes into the examination halls during the recruitment test,” the statement reads.
“Candidates who are not ready to serve in the rural areas of the state or where their services are required need not apply.”
