Two suspected terrorists have been apprehended by men of the Katsina State Police Command.
Their arrest was made known to the public in a statement through the command’s Twitter handle on Monday.
According to the police, the suspects were caught in possession of eight cows and two sheeps at Sukuntani village, Kankia Local Government Area of the state.
The statement read, “The command succeeded in arresting the duo of (1) Rabi’u Umar, ‘m’, aged 25years of Salihawa village via Matazu LGA and (2) Surajo Lawal alias ‘ORI’, ‘m’, aged 30 years of Rimin Kanwa village, suspected notorious terrorist in possession of eight (8) rustled cows and two (2) sheep at Sukuntani village, Kankia LGA. In the course of investigation, suspects confessed to the commission of the offense. Investigation is ongoing.”
