Popular skit maker and social media influencer, Abdulgafar Abiola, also known as The Cute Abiola, has empowered 60 widows and elderly women with his first salary as the Special Assistant on Creative Industries to the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahmam Abdul Razak.
He said the beneficiaries were drawn from his constituency.
Abiola made this known via his Instagram page on Wednesday.
He said he had made a vow to use his first salary from his new political appointment to help his constituents, especially old women and widows.
The skit maker in an emotional video on his page, shared moments when he was with people from his constituency, especially, the aged women, who prayed for him for his kind gesture.
He wrote, “On November 4, 2022, when I saw my appointment as the SSA to the Governor of Kwara State on Creative Industries, I had a strong covenant with God that I will use my first salary in office to support old women and widows.
“Today, I am indeed glad to have supported 60 women with my first salary in office. I pray that God continues to give me the strength to continue this template.”
