The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has nominated former Central Bank of Nigeria,Director, Human Resources, Edward Adamu, for the position of Deputy Governor of the nation’s apex bank.
According to Channels, the nomination letter was read on Tuesday during plenary by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan.
It was gathered that the nomination of Adamu is for the second and last time in office.
Also, Buhari nominated the CBN Deputy Governor, Mrs Aisha Ndanusa Ahmad for the second and last time in that position.
It was also reported that Buhari is also asking the Upper Chamber to confirm the appointment of Ambassador Ayuba Jacob as a member of the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
