Yoruba Nollywood actor, Sunday Olamilekan Ojo, popularly known as Gbatami has died.
According to Ireporter, Gbatami died of lung cancer on Thursday morning.
Ojo was a trainee of veteran actor, Adebayo Salami, popularly known as Oga Bello.
He produced the following movies: Ojo Oro, Emi nire kan, Wonyosi, Salaye, and a number of others, having been in the industry for about two decades.
Condolences have been pouring in following the demise of Gbatami, from colleagues and fans alike:
Actress Sheyi Adelakun, on her Instagram stories on Friday, said, “I had the wonderful honor of acting beside this wonderful man,”
Another colleague, Aina Olayemi, shared a photo with the late actor and described working with him as “a joy.”
