The Ondo State Police Command has arrested a tricycle operator, Adebayo Titus, who allegedly beat his colleague, Akintelure Festus, to death.
According to Daily Post, the incident occurred in Oke-Aro axis in Akure South Local Government Area of the state.
The commercial tricycle drivers were said to have gotten into a fight in which Akintelure allegedly hit Adebayo.
The victim collapsed and was taken to a nearby clinic where he later passed away.
Confirming the incident, the command’s spokesperson, SP Funmilayo Odunlami, said the police has launched an investigation into the matter.
He also revealed that the matter will be taken to the court after their investigation.
