Annie Idibia, the wife of the veteran singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has declared that she has become “officially deaf” to critics of her marriage.
She stated this while reacting to the comments over 2face’s birthday message to her during her 38 birthday anniversary over the weekend.
2face posted Annie’s photo on Instagram on Sunday with the caption: “Birthday blessings my Queen, nothing do you.”
The singer, however, came under fire for Annie’s straightforward message, which many referred to as “unromantic.”
Others defended him, saying that he is a man of few words and can only express himself through his music, while some criticized him for the straightforward birthday message.
2Baba, in another Instagram post, shared a photo collage of Annie with another birthday message, this time expressing his love for the actress whom he called his queen.
He wrote: “Birthday blessings my Queen. More light and love for you.”
Annie, who appeared to be unconcerned by 2Baba’s brief birthday message, responded to the criticism in the comments of a loved-up video of the couple that her husband had posted on Instagram by declaring that she is officially deaf to critics.
She wrote: “I’m officially deaf to naysayers. My Mine. Love you, dear Mr Innocent Idibia.”
