The internet was set buzzing on Sunday following speculations that Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has married his long time fiancee, Chioma.
The duo recently lost their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke on Monday, October 31, 2022, after drowning in a swimming pool in the singer’s Banana Island, Lagos, residence.
In a latest development, popularly news outlets, Gistlover on Sunday, reported that Davido has married Chioma.
It was reported that the traditional wedding, which was attended by few family and friends was held on 6 November in Davido’s father’s house, with no camera allowed.
It was also stated that Chioma’s bride price was paid in full.
It was reported that Chioma, following her son’s death, had told Davido that there was nothing more left for her to be looking at as the son that bound them together was no more.
Davido had to move the traditional wedding forward ostensibly to console Chioma and give her assurance that, with or without a son, her place is assured. Davido’s family is doing everything to make the couple happy.
