The Jabi Lake Mall located in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has suspended operations due to security concerns.
This comes after the United States warned its citizens about the possibility of terrorist attacks in Nigeria’s capital.
After the security alert, the Federal Government assured citizens that measures are in place to protect lives and property.
In an Instagram post on Thursday, management said it is reviewing the situation and will notify customers when it reopens.
Despite the closure of Jabi Lake Mall, several malls remain open in the FCT.
On Sunday, the US Mission issued a security alert warning Nigerians of an impending terrorist attack.
They listed government buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, shopping malls, hotels, and bars as potential targets.
