The National Business Certificate/National Technical Certificate recorded a low performance after the release of the 2022 May/June results.
According to The Nation, this was disclosed by the registrar and chief executive of NABTEB in Benin, Edo State, Prof. Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe.
According to her, 58,659 of the 84,147 candidates scored five credits and above, including Mathematics and English Language, representing 69.60 per cent.
Additionally, she stated that 75,221 candidates—representing 89.39 per cent—obtained five credits or more, with or without English Language and Mathematics.
With 300 candidates discovered to have engaged in examination malpractice during the May/June 2022 exams, she noted that the performance was marginally worse than that of 2021.
