Arsenal FC coach, Mikel Arteta, won the English Premier League Manager of the Month award for August.
The North London side’s gaffer steered his side to winning five games in August fixtures, scoring 13 goals and conceding only four in the process.
Arteta led the Gunners to victory against Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, Fulham, and Aston Villa, finishing the month top of the table.
The Spaniard is Arsenal’s second manager to win his opening five games of a Premier League season. Arsene Wenger achieved this record in two successive seasons during our Invincibles era of 2003/04
This is the third Manager of the Month award for the boss, who won it two times last season in September and March.
However, this time around, he beat Antonio Conte, Pep Guardiola, Graham Potter and Marco Silva.
