Killers of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps official, Segun Ayebulu, have demanded N30 million ransom for those they kidnapped on Saturday.
According to Daily Post, the suspected gunmen kidnapped three other occupants of the car after gunning the NSCDC officer who was travelling along Oke Ako-Irele Ekiti road heading to his town in Ogbe.
An uncle to the deceased told journalists in Ado Ekiti, on Sunday evening that, “The abductors contacted the family this evening and demanded N30million to secure the release of the victims.
“The three abductees were younger brothers of the late NSCDC officer, five-year-old child of the deceased and 11-year-old child of the slain officer’s elder brother while two others in the car escaped.”
The Public Relations Officer, NSCDC, Ekiti State Command, Tolu Afolabi, said the corps had mobilised some men to the community and as well contacted the commands in Kogi and Kwara states to secure the safe release of those kidnapped by the gunmen who killed Ayebulu.
