A 91-year-old Frank Stronach Canadian auto parts mogul, has been accused of sexual assault by ten women, according to court documents released Friday.
According to the AFP, the allegations span several decades, from 1977 to 2023, and include charges of attempted rape, sexual assault, indecent assault, and forcible confinement.
Stronach, founder of Magna International, was arrested twice in recent weeks and released on conditions both times. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 8.
The allegations describe a pattern of sexual violence and assault, with the most recent incidents occurring in April 2023 and February 2023.
Stronach has denied the allegations through his lawyer, Brian Greenspan, and vows to defend himself in court.
The case has sent shockwaves through the automotive industry and beyond, as Stronach’s reputation as a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist is now marred by these serious allegations.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have encouraged any additional victims to come forward.
