Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, has addressed speculations surrounding his relationship with Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru, following his recent separation from his wife, actress Annie Idibia.
Rumors of a romantic involvement between 2Baba and Osawaru gained traction after he was seen at the Edo State House of Assembly and later spotted with her at a Lagos nightclub.
The speculation further intensified on social media, with many alleging that Osawaru played a role in the singer’s marital breakdown.
In a video posted on his Instagram account on Tuesday, 2Baba firmly dismissed claims that Osawaru was responsible for his split with Annie.
The post, captioned, “To Whom It May Kwansighn. #I don yarn my truth. Feel free to continue alleging. We shall all be alright,” set the stage for his clarification.
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names, she has been labeled a home breaker,” he stated. “She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman, and she had nothing to do with what happened between me and Annie.”
Despite clearing the air on the controversy, 2Baba did not hold back his admiration for Osawaru.
“Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her,” he declared, further igniting discussions online.
