The inspection team of the Confederation of African Football, are expected to visit Nigeria and Benin Republic, between March 31 and April 2nd, to inspect the infrastructure for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to Daily Post, the CAF team is expected to assess stadiums, training facilities, hotels, and other critical facilities that will guarantee the competition runs smoothly.
Nigeria and its neighboring Benin Republic have joined forces to co-host Africa’s premier soccer event.
South Africa, Zambia, Morocco, Algeria, and Algeria are the other nations that have submitted proposals to host the biennial tournament.
Due to inadequate and rapid progress in preparations, Guinea, which was initially slated to host the competition, lost the right to do so.
