Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, has unveiled the 18-player squad who will compete in the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
This marks Nigeria’s return to the event after a 16-year absence, having last participated in the 2008 Beijing Games.
The Super Falcons secured their Olympic berth through a challenging qualification process, defeating Cameroon and overcoming reigning African champions South Africa.
In a press statement issued by the Nigeria Football Federation, the squad features several key players, though some notable names, including Francisca Ordega and Onome Ebi, are missing.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade leads the squad, selected by the 67-year-old American coach, which includes four alternates to bolster training.
