A bus accident in Agemowo area along Lagos-Badagry Expressway has resulted in the death of 18 yet-to-be-identified persons.
According to The PUNCH, an 18-seater bus was said to have had a head-on collision with a truck on Sunday around 8am.
It was gathered that all the passenger in the bus reportedly died, while a motor boy in the truck also lost his life in the accident
According to reports, the driver of a commercial bus leaving the state’s Yaba district and travelling to Benin Republic attempted to overtake a vehicle when he lost control and crashed with an incoming truck.
The incident has been confirmed by the Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Management Authority, Taofiq Adebayo.
